Faculty and Staff:
Assistant Dean, Graduate Admissions
Laura Andrews joined the SIT Graduate Admissions team as assistant dean in September 2016. She has spent almost two decades in graduate enrollment management at small mission-driven institutions in various disciplines from education to environmental studies and management. Specifically working with international students led her to SIT, and it has been an exciting place to land. Providing information to help both domestic and international students in order to help them make the best decision about graduate education is her goal. Of course, she hopes that one of the SIT programs will be a good fit.
As part of her overall duties of overseeing the Admissions team, Laura works most closely with the low-residency international education program. In the early part of her career, Laura taught 6th–8th grade in a middle high school in Southern Vermont, so working with fellow educators is a joy and delight.
