Sean Conley

Sean Conley holds a BA cum laude in English literature and an MA in teaching from SIT. He also holds a TESOL certificate, and earned a postgraduate certificate in conflict transformation from SIT’s Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management program, in which he also taught. In 2010, Sean was appointed associate dean of the Marlboro College Graduate School. He formerly served as chair of English language studies at The New School in New York City. He also has designed computer labs for language teaching, integrated technology threads into language curricula, and consulted internationally on the integration of technology in language learning. His current interests are the application of open-source solutions to the educational problems presented by the digital divide, such as creating no-cost computer labs for needy schools. Sean has worked in language teaching, teacher training, and program management in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and El Salvador.
