Running a study abroad office
Meet SIT alumna Veelie Alba
I am grateful for the SIT experience that equipped me to do what I do.
I direct, and create as I go, a new global programs office at University of Northwestern, where I did my practicum from July 2013 to June 2014. I wear many hats as a one-person office. Alongside many projects and initiatives, I oversee the semester and summer study abroad process and am working on policies and procedures for faculty-led programming. It has been a strong learning experience, and I am grateful for the SIT experience that equipped me to do what I do.
