Cheryl Pennie Williams

Cheryl Pennie Williams is the manager of student health administration for SIT Study Abroad and SIT Graduate Institute. She holds a bachelor of science in social work, a master’s in information systems from Pace University, and a second master’s in social policy and planning (with a concentration on health, welfare, and urban/rural development) from the London School of Economics. Prior to joining SIT, Cheryl held positions in social work and education. She has collaborated with UNICEF and WHO on various projects, including breast-feeding and nutrition, life skills, and parent effectiveness training. Cheryl has lived and/or studied abroad in Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados, Martinique, Bermuda, and the United Kingdom. She has been a member of the SIT Student Affairs team for over seven years. Cheryl loves traveling, meeting people from different cultures, water sports, hiking, and crafting.
