Lynée Connelly holds a BA in linguistics and Italian and an MA in international education. She is currently a PhD student at the California Institute for Integral Studies. Her dissertation focuses on the influence and impact of international education during the five-year post-reentry period. Using case study methodology, she is researching the Royal Thai Scholars program and its effect on the individual, society, education curriculum, and governmental sectors five years after the scholar has returned to Thailand. Lynée has been working at Northfield Mount Hermon School as the director of ESL and in the Center for International Education for the last five years. Previously, she was a teaching assistant for the low-residency international education program at SIT as well as a classroom teaching assistant for the on-campus international education program. She has taught English in many countries around the world and created an ESL program for the Boston Red Sox Organization.
