Michael Griffin is originally from Connecticut but hasn't lived in the States for 10 years. When he visits the US he divides his time between New York City and Boothbay Harbor, Maine. He came to South Korea in 2000 and taught for 2.5 years before spending 2003 traveling in South East Asia and China. Michael spent the next 4 years moving between South Korea and Japan. He is now (mostly) based in South Korea. Mike has been involved with teacher-training and development since 2008 and completed his MATESOL with a concentration in curriculum design from the New School in 2009. His main professional interests include materials-light teaching, classroom communication and reflective practice.
