On-Campus Housing in Vermont
SIT offers private rooms to all students living on campus in Vermont. Room sizes may vary slightly, but all include a bed, desk, closet, bureau, mini refrigerator, and shared bathrooms. On-campus students are also required to participate in the campus meal plan.
Meal plan for on-campus residents
All students who live on campus will be enrolled in the meal plan, which provides FLEX dollars on a student ID card. FLEX can be used to purchase any items from the grab-and-go café located in the student center.
FLEX dollars are a convenient and cost-effective way to purchase items from El Café. FLEX dollars are automatically loaded onto a student ID card for all on-campus meal plan participants. Off-campus students may also choose to load FLEX onto their student IDs and use those funds in El Café. All FLEX deposits receive a 10 percent bonus added to the deposit total.
