Long Island University
SIT Graduate Institute is proud to partner with Long Island University (LIU). Through this partnership, LIU alumni who are admitted to an SIT master’s or doctoral degree program receive an automatic scholarship toward their studies, along with a waiver of the SIT graduate application fee.
Benefits
- $10,000 scholarship for LIU alumni admitted to any SIT global master’s program.
- $10,000 scholarship for LIU alumni admitted to any SIT doctoral program.
- Waiver of the standard SIT graduate application fee for all eligible LIU applicants.
Scholarships are applied automatically upon offer of admission and credited directly to the student’s SIT account—no separate scholarship application is required.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have graduated from Long Island University.
- Global master’s applicants are automatically reviewed for additional SIT merit scholarships above the partner award.
- For doctoral applicants, the LIU partner scholarship is the only SIT award available.
- The LIU partner scholarship cannot be combined with the SIT Alumni Advantage Scholarship or other named SIT merit awards unless SIT’s Office of Admissions grants a written exception.
To Identify Your LIU Affiliation
Identify your affiliation with Long Island University when you submit your SIT application. Your official LIU transcript, submitted as part of your standard application materials, serves as verification of your affiliation—no additional documentation is required.
