Experience SIT: Exploring Low- and High-Context Communication Across Cultures*
April 5 | 12pm ET | Register here
You’ve read the website and attended a webinar to learn about SIT. But you’re still wondering what learning via SIT’s experiential curriculum might encompass in reality. Please join SIT Professor Sora Friedman in an hour-long mock class exploring cultural-general values and how they might apply to your work. By the end of the session, you will be familiar with one framework for understanding culture and one tool for self-assessment of your high- and low-context preferences. We’ll also have time to process the experience and talk about how it exemplifies SIT’s methodology. This session is designed for applicants to all SIT master’s degree programs.
